User Component Options Dialog

This dialog sets the active rotation/angle when creating an inline User Component.

Opens when any in-line type of User Component is created (Valve, Instrument).

Since user components are usually created from dumb graphics, there program has no way of telling the default orientation of the component. The user must indicate the angle to create with. This is required for the graphics to properly orient on a pipe run, if dragged to one.

Enter the Active Angle value in the field and click OK to define the default angle for the component.

Example

In the example below, the top component would be created with an Active Angle of 0 degrees. So by default, if it is dragged to a horizontal run (such as the one above it), it will not rotate, but will rotate 90 degrees if dragged onto the vertical run to the left.

The bottom component should be created with an Active Angle of 90 degrees. When dragged onto the vertical line to the left it should not rotate, but will rotate to 0 degrees if dragged onto the horizontal run on top.
